Purpose: The purpose of the BioPlastics Lab is to explore sustainable alternatives to traditional plastics by experimenting with biodegradable materials. Through hands-on activities, students will gain an understanding of the properties, applications, and potential limitations of bioplastics made from Gelatin and Potato Starch. By engaging in these experiments and reflections, students will develop critical thinking skills and environmental awareness while exploring innovative solutions to plastic pollution.
